Once the gatehouse is secured our investigators enter the city to deliver the supplies and check in on the doctor. The town is in a miserable state with the stench of death and decay in the air. Rats run freely through the streets as townsfolk remove dead bodies from homes. The mayor tells them that the doctor has been holed up in a warehouse that’s been converted into a hospital and that no one has seen him for days.
Upon entering the “hospital” the stench is overwhelming and flies have been busy at work. There are many dead bodies but the faint sounds of those who still cling to life can be heard within. They make their way carefully through the “hospital” and go upstairs to find the doctors quarters. The room is filthy but seems to have been used but the doctor is not there.
As they move further into the ward they discover the terrible truth of what has transpired…….
