Bento debriefs Reggie and Nash about their mission to Caladena. He’s concerned about the status of Doctor Charybdis and what that might mean for Dark Matter but lets it pass. Reggie and Nash head back to work with the team on the holodeck. During a lull in their training, Julio tries out his new Inra simulation on Reggie who seems relatively unaffected.
Later in the day Bento calls Reggie and Nash back to his office where he has Blanche Reggerty, an X Investments executive, in a holo-call. After an exchange of pleasantries Blanche indicates that she would like to retain their services for a mission, to leave right away. X Investments has lost contact with a small team that was sent to investigate the planet Drir. After “grilling” Blanche for a bit trying to determine if she’s holding anything back they agree and head off to Drir.
