Set in 1927 on the Atlantic City Boardwalk. The metropolitan life insurance company has sent a group of its special investigators on a short vacation, to recover from their last claim investigation, during the month of August. While on vacation an incredible storm strikes the city and brings strange and mysterious objects onto the beach, imperiling the up and coming vacation spot.
