Daryyl Julius Rueglethorpe IV (Dilettante) – John (Beta)
Petra Rivers (Entertainer) – Dani
Vincenzo DeCarlo (Crime Boss) – John
GM – Kevin

Over dinner Daryyl asks the King about the Emerald Lama. The King says that the Lama is a religious figure of an ethereal nature.   When Daryyl explains that he accepted a mission from the Lama’s monks the King indicates that it would be possible to extricate him from the promise if he wished to. Daryyl is noncommittal and after dinner the party heads to their separate rooms, much to Vinny’s dismay, and drift off to sleep.

Petra dreams of dragons after spending some time admiring the large diamond they found on the beach.   In the dream she seems to be able to summon the creatures and winds up riding one while in the mountains.   Vinny dreams of riding the airships outside the city and seeing many treasures just lying on the ground ripe for the taking. Daryyl on the other hand has an uneventful and peaceful night sleep.

After breakfast they take a ride on the airship and it’s eerily similar to Vinny’s dream.   Unfortunately the ship runs on a preprogrammed flight path so the captain is unable to land. When they get back to the city they gear up for a walkabout in search of treasure. The countryside is quiet and mostly devoid of life until they stumble across a stream with a small group of monks.

Once the monks finish their morning ritual, Daryyl, Petra and Vinny move in and find the stream is filled with gold nuggets. As the sky begins to drift on towards night, somewhat unexpectedly, the party returns to the city with the intention of leaving in the morning. When morning comes the King arranges for two monks to lead the party to a mountain pass so that they may head back to their own world but fate intervenes.
