Jack and Erin head home from Randy’s after setting up a meeting with the person/creature they think is responsible for the death of their friend Steve. After being startled by a murder of crows they make it home no worse for wear.
Erin has a weird dream and it spooks him enough to make him call and check up on his mom. Unconvinced by his mother’s reassurances he grab’s Jack and they go over to check on her. Once they get there Erin finds out from his mom that he’s had this dream before. As the memories start flooding back he remembers a strange singsong rhyme that he used to sing.
Convinced that the key to the dream maybe locked in one of his old coloring books, Erin heads up to the attic to search while Jack heads over to pick up Randy. Much to Jack’s chagrin Randy is still sleeping, so after getting him up they go back to Erin’s moms.
Hours later the guys find a coloring book that has the verse and Erin’s world begins to change, maybe forever.
