Bracing himself for the worst Erin gains his feet and finds himself in the empty living room. Jack and Randy enter close behind. Checking out the front door it looks like whoever broke in knew what they were doing. It appears they used a bump lock to open the door. They quickly split up with Jack checking the back of the house and Erin and Randy heading upstairs. Finding nothing, they reconvene in the kitchen where they find a carton of milk left out on the counter. Evil bastard didn’t even use a glass!
With Jack in the lead they head into the basement. It’s a disaster, even by Randy’s normal standards. Everything has been tossed and all of the electronics are gone, even the thumb drive for Randy’s Xbox…..the horror. The decision is made to clean up as best they can but just as they get started Jack points out that it’s a crime scene.
With some trepidation they call Sergeant Jeffries. While they’re waiting a text comes in on the burner phone. It says, “Our enemies are stepping things up we should meet. No cameras, no phones.” As they’re trying to sort that out Sergeant Jeffries shows up. After some hemming and hawing they spill the beans about the monster. Erin shows him the videos on the Ghostfacers youtube page.
Jack drops the bomb that we have the creature’s head in Erin’s freezer. Jeffries puts them in his squad car and takes them to Erin’s house. Erin takes Jeffries in and shows him the head. His immediate response is to puke all over the kitchen. Jeffries agrees to dig a little deeper to try and find out what’s going on. Copious amount of alcohol are consumed.
